We are honored to present this interview with Augusta Lee Collins, a Bay Area blues living legend. We met Augusta while we were both drug addicted and homeless on the streets of the Bay Area. We both had a life before our fall into the the lower depths. We both have recovered and again our creative selves. Augusta performed at the San Francisco 75th birthday bash for Amiri Baraka at the Fillmore Jazz Heritage Center. Also at the African American Musuem/library reading of the Wisdom of Plato Negro. From the interview, you will see he is more than qualified to sing the blues.
